Frequently asked questions
How much is carpet cleaning?
How do we book?
You can book over the phone or via email.
How long does the carpet cleaning process take?
Can you remove wine, tea, coffee etc…
We use top quality stain removal products which are very good at stain removal.
Some stains can be permanent and therefore we can’t make any promises that we can remove them.
We usually get better results if we attempt to remove the stain before anyone else tries.
Is there a minimum call out charge?
How do I pay?
Does the carpet cleaning method used matter? What is the difference between steam cleaning and dry cleaning?
Yes, the correct method will remove unwanted stains, improve, and extend the life of the carpet.
Different carpets and fibres react and behave differently. For example, wool carpets don’t respond well to excessive amounts of water so dry cleaning is the best method.
Dry cleaning is a good method to use for regular maintenance cleaning and on carpets that aren’t heavily stained.
Commercial office carpets or tiles are also best dry cleaned.
To get the best results, we like to assess the carpets first to ensure we are using the best method to get the best results for you.
Do you have any special chemicals for pet owners?
Yes, we use top-quality professional chemicals for all types of carpets and situations.
If you have pets, we use a product which neutralises pet odours. Please allow carpets to dry thoroughly before your pets are allowed back into the room.
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
Single households or those with little foot traffic:
You can generally get away with a professional clean every 12 to 18 months.
Large families will experience more dirt and spills. May need a deep clean every 6 to 12 months.
If you have smokers in the home, you might want to clean your carpet more often, around every 6 to 9 months.
A home with pets could also need a specialist to clean every 6 to 9 months.
Do you provide a receipt on completion?
Are your products wool safe?
How can I prepare my home for the carpet cleaning?
We ask where possible for fragile and valuable items to be moved to a safe area. We also advise for any small pieces of furniture to be removed from the rooms where possible to allow the area to be as clear as possible for the technician.
We have sliders for larger pieces of furniture but may not be able to move very heavy beds or wardrobes.
Access to parking, water and an electrical point are also important for our technicians to be able to complete the job for you. One final top tip that is always helpful is to make a note of any areas of concern so you can point these areas out to the technician to make sure nothing is missed.
